Marta López, a 32-year-old psychologist, left her job and home near Barcelona to live in a motorhome with her partner and two dogs in the Canary Islands. In an interview with Radio Nacional de España, she cited professional burnout, social pressure to have children, and her partner's pulmonary infarction as reasons for the change. She said unsustainable rhythms of life and rising anxiety among young people, along with housing difficulties, are driving others to consider similar moves.
