The Consell de Ibiza has enforced vehicle entry limits for a second season in 2026, capping the total at 17,668 vehicles, 2,500 fewer than the previous summer. Caravans must now prove a booking at an official campsite to disembark at the port of Ibiza. Between January and August 2024, 3,922 caravans arrived by sea; in the first nine months of 2026, the figure fell to 1,056, a decrease of 2,866. The Consell issued 27 fines for prolonged parking and overnight stays, penalised seven motorhomes for lacking entry authorisation, and conducted six operations related to online sales of caravans and campervans.
