Two Thellier Voyages tour leaders, Tony and Anaïs, said that on their first assignment accompanying a group of motorhomes in the Netherlands in spring 2025, the group of about 15 vehicles included three single travellers. One of them, Philippe, said after the trip that he would sell his motorhome because he had completed the last destination he and his late wife had planned. Several months later, the group's WhatsApp chat revealed that he was marrying Chantal, another single participant from the same tour. The wedding took place in May 2026; Thellier Voyages sent tulips, and the couple sold their houses and motorhomes and booked a new tour in Italy.
