The Dutch camper club NKC advises against storing camper vans during winter. The club has selected six nature areas, including the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes and Weerribben-Wieden National Park, which are particularly suitable for winter camping. Overnight stays are permitted in these areas, with facilities like Camping het Lierderholt remaining open throughout the season.
