Luisa Sánchez, leader of the opposition in Vigo, has urged the local government to draft a municipal ordinance to regulate motorhome parking and establish at least one dedicated area with necessary services. She noted that unlike other Galician cities, Vigo lacks a municipal motorhome area and even daytime parking in tourist zones. Sánchez pointed out that the recent approval of a tourist tax is not matched by visitor services, and the absence of alternatives leads to uncontrolled parking of motorhomes in unauthorized spots.
