Storyteller Overland has announced the GEAR MODE, a new adventure van built on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 AWD platform. It will be available in Q4 at dealers nationwide in three trim levels: STR, ADV, and MAX. Pricing is set at $149,497.67 for STR, $171,477.89 for ADV, and $187,493.42 for MAX. The van features GearWall and GearShift systems that allow the interior to be reconfigured for gear storage, sleeping, seating, or dining. Power is provided by a Lithionics system in 4kWh or 8kWh configurations (upgradeable to 11.9kWh), a 2000-watt inverter, and prewiring for up to 1,500 watts of solar. Warranty includes 1-year/15,000-mile Storyteller Overland limited warranty and 5-year/75,000-mile Mercedes-Benz Extended Limited Warranty.
