The German two-person mini-camper Sealander can be towed on roads like a trailer and converted into a boat on water. Prices start at 39,750 euros including taxes and duties, without an engine. On-water capacity is up to 410 kg, and the maximum road weight is 750 kg, allowing towing with a category B licence. The manufacturer permits waves up to 30 cm, limiting use to lakes, rivers and sheltered coastal waters within 1 km of shore. Top speed on water with a 5 hp outboard is about 10 km/h.
