In Brief

Eifelland will show the Relax motorhome, based on the electric Nissan Interstar-e, at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Prices start at €89,900 and the Truma Eezy heater runs from the traction battery.

Eifelland, a Nissan partner, will present the Relax motorhome, built on the fully electric Nissan Interstar-e, at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf from 28 August to 6 September (stand A09, hall 15). Prices start at €89,900 including VAT. The Interstar-e without the conversion costs €84,900 in Eifelland's current range.

Specifications

  • 87 kWh battery, up to 410 km of range in the basic version; Nissan quotes up to 460 km WLTP for the empty van.
  • DC charging at up to 130 kW; an 11 kW charger is standard, a 22 kW unit is optional.
  • Electric motor with 143 hp and 300 Nm of torque.
  • Kerb weight 3,065 kg, gross vehicle weight 3,500 kg, payload up to 435 kg.
  • Bed of about 1.90 × 1.60 m, 90-litre fridge, induction hob, sink, portable toilet, almost 2.6 m³ of storage.
  • Two of the four seats can be removed.

The Trumaⓘ Eezy heater delivers 450, 900 or 1,800 W and needs 230 V AC. Eifelland says it runs directly from the high-voltage battery, but an inverter is still needed between the battery and the heater. The public specification of the Interstar-e does not confirm a factory V2L socket, and Eifelland has not yet explained how its add-on system works. There is no certified range figure for the finished motorhome: the 410 to 460 km figures apply to the empty van.
