Kerbweight is the weight of a vehicle with standard equipment, full fuel tank, and all fluids, but without driver, passengers, or luggage. Used as the basis for calculating towing capacity.
The Caravan and Motorhome Club recommends caravans should not exceed 85% of the tow vehicle's kerbweight. Experienced towers may tow up to 100% of kerbweight within the vehicle's stated towing limit.
