Recvee has announced its participation in the Osaka Camping Car Fair 2026, scheduled for October 24–25, 2026, at Intex Osaka. The camper manufacturer from Seto, Aichi Prefecture, will display a record seven vehicles, including new wide and narrow versions of the Recvee Plus LIV'N based on the Nissan Caravan, and the Recvee Solan in wide and high-roof variants. Additionally, eight units of popular Toyota Town Ace-based models will be available for early delivery. The exhibit is managed by Recvee Est, the company's Kansai dealership in Kyoto.

MCLIMB has unveiled the CARAVAN NEO VENTURE, a camper van based on the Nissan Caravan with a pop-up roof. It features round headlights from flexdream's FD-classic, an off-road body kit, and 215/65R16 Yokohama PARADA PA03 tires. The interior includes AirREVO TYPE-F1200 seats with ISOFIX, a kitchen unit, and a bed for two adults. MCLIMB is also the official distributor of iKamper roof-top tents, including the Skycamp 2.0 that opens and closes in 30 seconds.

Japanese car dealerships offer sleep-in-car models based on the Toyota Sienta, Nissan NV200 Vanette, and Mitsubishi Delica D:5. These vehicles are equipped only with beds and furniture, lacking full camper electrical and water systems, which simplifies maintenance and reduces cost. Prices: Toyota Sienta Juno from 3,713,600 yen, Nissan NV200 Vanette MyRoom from 4,843,300 yen, and Mitsubishi Delica D:5 D:Pop from 5,940,000 yen.

Nissan P's Field Craft presented the OASIS camper based on Nissan Caravan at Pacifico Yokohama. Base price starts at 5,757,400 yen; the show unit is valued at 8,396,882 yen.

After a year-long DIY conversion of a Nissan Caravan Super Long, the owner installed insulation and a roof AC. In August at 35°C, the AC cooled the cabin to 27°C in 5 minutes, using 30% of a 7200 Wh battery over 11 hours.

An owner converted a Nissan Caravan into a camper and painted it himself using Takara Paint's "Milk Tea Beige". Total material costs were 16,435 yen, while a professional full respray typically costs between 200,000 and 350,000 yen. The job took about two hours, with sanding described as the most physically demanding step.

Tuning firm BOXY STYLE has unveiled a conversion package for the Nissan Caravan (E26). Exterior upgrades include CARBONTEC carbon front bumper and side spoilers, fender protectors, and BOXISM 25b wheels (16×6.5, offset 48). The interior features a flip bed co-developed with OGUshow, seat covers, and floor panels. The package is positioned for daily driving and camping.

Nissan unveiled the NV200 Vanette MyRoom, a 4400 mm camper with a wooden interior that converts into a bed for heights up to 184 cm. Designed for couples and solo travelers.

Needs Sapporo, a tuning shop marking its 26th year in 2026, has unveiled a modified Nissan Caravan. The vehicle retains its category 4 commercial classification while adding a central split bed, an FF heater powered by a sub-battery, and an HDMI-connected rear monitor for remote work. Options include an original center console bed for dogs and Ogusho side multi-pipe racks for fishing rods.

Ogusho has introduced a model based on the Nissan Caravan Grand Premium GX featuring a 60% matte black paint finish that provides a semi-gloss surface. The vehicle includes a dark brown woodgrain interior, a convertible bed system, herringbone-pattern flooring, and Ohlins DFV shock absorbers. The five-seat layout is retained.

Ogusho has unveiled the ES Tough Spec Concept based on the Nissan Caravan. The vehicle features bolt-on interior components that can be installed by the owner without modifying the body. It uses high-durability Cordura materials for seat covers, bed mats and the center console. The layout allows carrying a 125cc motorcycle while maintaining a sleeping area. The bed mat height is set at 42 cm, with a three-section left mat and a fold-up right bed. The model is designed for both daily use and outdoor leisure.

A Japanese owner converted a used 2019 Nissan Caravan into a camper for overnight stays, spending about a year on DIY. The van was bought for 2,000,000 yen and features hinoki wood panels, a kitchen, air conditioner, and a power system with LiTime batteries.

Bodyline has unveiled the second generation Light Camper 2 for the Nissan Caravan. The model combines motorcycle transport and overnight accommodation, equipped with two FIAMMA F40 VAN awnings and a folding bed module.

Recvil has unveiled the ISOLA camper van based on the Nissan Caravan Super Long. The model features a waterproof rear compartment with a shower for dirty gear, seats six, and comes with a 300 Ah lithium battery, air conditioning, and a heater.

Nissan and Eifelland will present the electric camper van Relax based on the Nissan Interstar-e at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6). Prices start at €89,900. The vehicle features an 87 kWh battery (WLTP range up to 410 km), DC fast charging up to 130 kW, and a 22 kW onboard charger. Inside, it offers a fixed bed (1.90×1.60 m), a kitchen with a 90-liter fridge and induction hob, and 2.6 cubic meters of storage. Payload is up to 435 kg. Standard equipment includes climate control, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, rear camera, and safety assistants.

The promobil editorial team selected seven notable exhibits from Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf. Among them are the new Laika Kreos integral motorhome based on the Mercedes Sprinter with design by Giorgetto Giugiaro (from €169,990), the electric camper Eifelland Relax on the Nissan Interstar-e with a real-world range of about 300 km (approx. €90,000), and the Giottiline Siena 340 low-profile motorhome with a drop-down bed (from €62,000). Also highlighted are the Dethleffs Graneo A 6823-2 on a Mercedes Sprinter 519 CDI (from €169,999), the Offtrack Verge with a distinctive design (from €180,000), and the Westfalia Columbus Liner with an innovative roof concept.

Japanese tuner Essex has introduced the second customization package for the Nissan Caravan, named More Act. The vehicle features a two-tone exterior combining Midnight Black with Ash Green Metallic from the Mitsubishi Delica Mini. Inside, it gets custom leather seats with striped inserts by Craft Plus, aluminum floor panels, and an Alpine OPTM sound system. Exterior upgrades include an AES front bumper guard, Legal Fender Ver.2 fender flares, aluminum step covers, and 18-inch ENCS wheels.

In Japan, the Dream Drive NICO motorhome based on the Nissan Caravan Super Long was unveiled. It features a fixed double bed measuring 1800×1400 mm, a kitchen, and a seating area. Dimensions are 5080×1695×2285 mm. Standard equipment includes a 100 Ah lithium-ion battery, a 1000 W inverter, a sink, and a 10-liter water tank. The price starts at 7.5 million yen. Sales will begin in March 2027.

Dream Drive introduced the NICO model based on the Nissan Caravan Super Long with a permanent double bed measuring 1800×1400 mm. The camper includes a kitchen, a single seat, a table, a 100 Ah lithium-ion battery, a 1000 W inverter, and an external shower. Price starts at 7.5 million yen, with delivery by the end of March 2027.
