Nissan NV200 returns as a hybrid all-wheel-drive MPV for vanlife

Nissan is reviving the NV200 as a plug-in hybrid MPV with off-road styling. The model is expected to debut in the third quarter of 2026, developed by the Zhengzhou Nissan joint venture (Nissan and Dongfeng). Spy photos from China show a prototype with new lighting and a grille inspired by the Frontier Pro pickup. The powertrain likely includes a hybrid system with optional all-wheel drive via a rear electric motor, making it suitable for work, family, and vanlife.

Valenti Releases Retro Jewel LED Tail Lamps for E26 Caravan

Valenti, a brand under Japanese auto parts maker Colant, has launched the Jewel LED Tail Lamp Retro for the Nissan Caravan / NV350 Caravan and Isuzu Como (E26 model). In 2025, Japan sold 13,435 RVs, of which 57% (7,726) were camper vans. The list includes models based on the Nissan NV200, Honda Stepwgn, Honda Freed, and Toyota TownAce. Prices range from 4.15 million yen (ANNEX Canelé comfort) to 5.47 million yen (NISSAN P's Field Craft CRAFT CAMPER LUMINO). The ROUTE SIX Liera (Honda Freed) is currently not accepting orders due to high demand.
