Mercedes-Benz Vans has begun production of Marco Polo campers at its Ludwigsfelde plant. For the first time in the 40-year history of its motorhomes, production is fully organized at Mercedes-Benz facilities: the base V-Class is built in Vitoria, Spain, and converted into a camper in Ludwigsfelde. A new workshop with a flexible conveyor line has been opened, and all documentation has been digitized. The Marco Polo also receives new comfort features, including improved sense of space, lighting and dimming concept, acoustics, and connectivity.
