Mercedes-Benz has presented the updated Marco Polo camper based on the V-Class. Key changes include a new double-layer aluminum pop-up roof that increases interior height by 10 cm and improves insulation. The awning, LED lighting, and magnetic sun blinds have been redesigned. Living-area functions are now managed via the MBAC system, operating like a smart home through a central display or smartphone.
Production has been fully transferred from Westfalia to Mercedes-Benz Vans' own plant in Ludwigsfelde, which the company says will shorten delivery times. The premiere will take place at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf from August 28 to September 6, 2026. A simplified HORIZON version without kitchen and wardrobe is also introduced, expected to lower the starting price from the current 90,000 pounds. According to some sources, the starting price is around 80,000 euros, with diesel engines ranging from 163 to 237 hp. An electric version on the VAN.EA platform is due by the end of the decade.
