Roof hatch, rooflight, skylight, vent fan, Dometic Fan-Tastic, MaxxAir vent, Fiamma vent

A roof vent is a ventilation hatch installed in the motorhome or caravan roof to allow hot air to escape and fresh air to circulate. Most include an integrated fan for active ventilation or extraction.

Roof vents are essential for managing heat and moisture, preventing condensation and mould. Popular models include the Dometic Fan-Tastic, Remis, and Seitz hatches. They are usually 400 × 400 mm and fit standard roof openings.
