Alaskan Campers, known since 1957 for heavy-duty truck campers, has introduced the HS 640 model with reduced weight. The camper has a dry weight of 1,500 lbs and measures 6.3 feet (1.9 m) in length, allowing the tailgate to close on most standard 6.5-foot truck beds from Ram, Ford, Toyota, and others. The shell uses 1.5-inch structural insulated panels with high-density PIR foam and fiberglass skin, providing R-11 thermal insulation. Interior features include aluminum cabinetry, bamboo trim, an induction cooktop, sink, 90L fridge, L-shaped sofa, queen mattress, indoor/outdoor shower, and a composting toilet. Pricing starts at $47,495.
