Entegra Coach has introduced the Embark Class A motorhome, which uses electric propulsion supplemented by a gasoline-powered range extender. The vehicle offers about 105 miles of battery-only range and up to 450–500 miles total depending on configuration and conditions. It is built on an electric medium-duty chassis from Harbinger Motors with a 140-kWh battery mounted low and centrally. An 800-volt architecture supports DC fast charging, 240-volt home charging, and campground power. The Embark can also provide backup power for a home during outages. THOR Industries plans to offer the model through its THL rental fleet for real-world feedback.
