Choose overnight stops only in authorized and equipped locations, and do not drive in bad weather or when the driver is tired.
Traveling by campervan requires different preparation than a regular vacation, especially with children. For a first trip, it is advisable to choose short routes with easy access and official overnight stops near convenience stores, medical facilities, or repair shops. Pack only essential items, check the vehicle's condition, understand its size and handling, and allow time for rest to avoid a packed schedule.
