German professional driver and YouTuber Tobias Wagner has begun a round-the-world expedition in a Mercedes-Benz eActros 600 electric truck converted into a motorhome. He started from Hanover on 20 September. On the first 3,500 km leg to Turkey he made three charging stops, crossing the Czech Republic, Austria, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia and Bulgaria. The goal is to cover 45,000 km using no more than 80 charges. The conversion was carried out by Bliss Mobil, a specialist in habitation modules for expedition vehicles.
