A head-on collision occurred this morning on the SS200 highway between Punta Tramontana and Lu Bagnu, involving a car and a motorhome. Preliminary investigations suggest the crash was caused by a risky overtaking maneuver. The most seriously injured is a 49-year-old woman from the car, who lost consciousness and was airlifted to Sassari hospital with chest trauma, pelvic and limb fractures. Two foreign tourists from the motorhome were hospitalized in moderate condition (yellow code). Firefighters and carabinieri responded.
