On August 4, 2026, Torino local police conducted checks on motorhomes and caravans at Parco Ruffini and near Palavela. At Parco Ruffini, one motorhome and one caravan were seized and removed for violations of the highway code and local regulations. Near Palavela, two more motorhomes were removed, while the remaining vehicles were found compliant but were asked to leave the area. The checks covered vehicle documents, insurance, road tax, and parking rules. Security councillor Marco Porcedda said the operations will continue, also based on reports received.
