In Campi Salentina, carabinieri identified a 32-year-old man living at the 'Panareo' campsite in Lecce, suspected of two thefts in northern Salento. He first stole a camper parked on a street in Surbo, later found at the campsite. The next day, he was caught in Squinzano with a 23-year-old accomplice dismantling parts from a damaged car. The stolen goods were recovered and returned to owners; both were reported to the Lecce prosecutor's office, and the 32-year-old also faced sanctions for driving without a license.
