Dutch police are investigating three separate incidents involving campers and caravans.
Camper theft in Nederweert
Between Sunday and Monday night, a 1989 Mercedes 207D camper was stolen in Nederweert. Security cameras show two men walking on Magnoliastraat around 03:05, and the camper driving away on Berberisstraat around 03:15. Owners ask witnesses or anyone with camera footage to contact them or the police.
Fire at campsite in Limburg
Between Saturday and Sunday night, several caravans burned down completely at campsite De Kasteelse Bossen in Melderslo. The entire campsite was evacuated; dozens of guests left their pitches. Several people were examined by medics for possible smoke inhalation; no hospitalisation was needed. Part of the area has been cordoned off as a crime scene. Police are investigating possible arson.
Camper fire in Apeldoorn
Between Thursday and Friday night, a small camper caught fire on Landgoedlaan in Apeldoorn. Firefighters found the vehicle fully engulfed; it could not be saved. Police do not rule out arson and are investigating. The camper will be towed later.
