On Saturday afternoon, a caravan got stuck on a narrow bridge in Molenhoek, a spot already known for such incidents. This was the ninth occurrence at this location. The vehicle belonged to a couple from Brabant who were staying at the De Oude Molen campsite in Groesbeek. The caravan became stuck around noon and could not free itself, requiring a tow truck to clear the road.
The bridge, which is 2.1 meters wide, is unsuitable for caravans and motorhomes, despite clearly visible warning signs prohibiting their passage. Drivers continue to attempt to cross, leading to repeated incidents.
