US company Plan B Trucks converted a military truck from the early 1990s into an 11-metre motorhome in 2017. The 8.2-metre living body includes a kitchen with an induction hob, microwave and fridge-freezer, a U-shaped seating area, a separate lounge with a television, sleeping places for three, a shower and a toilet. The motorhome has an 8.3-litre six-cylinder diesel engine producing 240 hp and 1010 Nm of torque, selectable six-wheel drive, adjustable tyre pressure, nine solar panels, batteries, a diesel heater and air conditioning. Fresh water capacity is 946 litres. The vehicle was listed on the US auction site Bring a Trailer, where the highest bid reached about 27,000 euros, but it did not sell because the reserve price was not met. It has covered over 35,000 kilometres, and the engine was rebuilt in 2008. In the Netherlands, driving it requires a truck licence because it weighs more than 3,500 kilograms.
