South Korean actress Kyung Soo-jin converted her Kia Ray into a camper van for solo trips. The total cost, including modifications, is around 20 million won (approx. $15,000). The Ray is powered by a 1.0L gasoline engine producing 76 hp with fuel economy of 12.6–12.9 km/L. Modifications include removing rear seats and leveling the floor for sleeping. Owners retain kei-car benefits: reduced acquisition tax, insurance discounts, and 50% off parking and tolls.
