Residents of about twenty caravans in the sa Joveria area of Ibiza voluntarily left the illegal settlement after being warned of high fines. Most stated they pay rent but decided to leave to avoid penalties. The settlement was not dismantled during the operation on April 21 because it was on land considered public thoroughfare and not covered by a court order. Police conducted an identification and notification campaign, reminding of the ban on camping and overnight stays in public spaces, as well as the law restricting caravan parking on Ibiza from June 1 to September 30.
