Spanish manufacturer Benimar has announced a new entry-level Kaleo motorhome range at the Düsseldorf Caravan Salon, positioned below its Tessoro and Mileo lines. The flagship Kaleo K640 is built on a Citroën Jumper chassis with a 2.2-litre BlueHDI diesel engine producing 140 hp, paired with a six-speed manual gearbox (an eight-speed automatic is optional). It measures 630 cm long, 232 cm wide and 289 cm high, with a maximum authorised weight of 3,500 kg. Standard equipment includes LED daytime running lights, lane-keeping assist, traffic sign recognition, autonomous city braking, cruise control, dual airbags, tyre pressure monitoring, 15-inch wheels, swivel seats, air conditioning, a 22 A lithium-compatible battery charger and rear parking sensors. The interior features a transverse rear bed for two adults, an optional single bed over the lounge, a separate bathroom with shower, a two-burner kitchen, stainless steel sink and a compressor fridge with freezer.
