camping.info ranking
According to an analysis by camping.info, from January to September 2026 the most visited campsite in Europe was Falkensteiner Camping Grubhof in Sankt Martin bei Lofer (Salzburg). The top 10 includes five Austrian, three German and two Italian campsites. In the top 100, Germany is represented by 47 sites, Austria by 23, and Italy by 18.
The ranking is based on page views and does not reflect quality. The average cost per night for two people with a caravan, electricity and local tax is around 40 euros in Austria, 30 euros in Germany, 41 euros in Croatia and 14 euros in Albania.
