First caravan service area opens in Tenerife's metropolitan zone

The Cabildo of Tenerife, through its department for the environment, sustainability, safety and emergencies, has activated a new service for caravans at the Jagua clean point, the first of its kind in the metropolitan area. The facility is located next to the Santa Cruz fishing dock, at the entrance to the Anaga Rural Park and near Las Teresitas beach. This is the third such infrastructure on the island, after two in Arona. The service includes disposal of grey and black water and supply of drinking water. Opening hours: Monday 8:00-16:00, Tuesday-Friday 8:00-20:00, Saturday 9:00-20:00, Sunday 9:00-14:00.

The Island Council of Tenerife has put into operation a service area for motorhomes at the Jagua recycling center, located near the port of Santa Cruz, on the edge of the Anaga Natural Park and close to Las Teresitas beach.
