The first caravan service area in the metropolitan area of Tenerife has been opened. It is located at the Jagua waste reception point, near the fishing port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Anaga park and Las Teresitas beach. This is the third such infrastructure on the island, after two in Arona.
The area is equipped for dumping grey and black water and refilling drinking water. The project will gradually expand to other waste reception points on the island to prevent uncontrolled discharges in protected areas.

- Monday: 8:00–16:00
- Tuesday–Friday: 8:00–20:00
- Saturday: 9:00–20:00
- Sunday: 9:00–14:00
The opening took place on 5 August 2026, with the participation of Environment Minister Blanca Pérez and head of waste management service Alejandro Moloni.
