The Austrian town of Lienz is exploring the creation of two caravan and motorhome parks. One project involves a site at the foot of Schlossberg (castle hill), discussed at a city council meeting on Tuesday. Previously, various tourist uses were proposed for the area, including a hotel. Funding and implementation details remain open.
The second project was announced by TVB chairman Franz Teurl: a campsite for motorhomes at Hochstein in Lienz, with about 30 pitches without soil sealing. Construction could start in 2027.
