South Tyrol municipality builds new campsite after years of fighting motorhomes

Presented at the end of 2024, the Laika Kosmo L 105 motorhome is 599 cm long and features an unusual layout with a two-tier living/sleeping area at the rear. The kitchen and bathroom are positioned at the front, near the Fiat Ducato-based cab. The price of the model with optional packages exceeds 84,000 euros.

Camper sharing platforms like Yescapa enable the rental of motorhomes, vans, and campervans from private owners, making this type of vacation more accessible. From Brescia, travelers can embark on routes to the Franciacorta region and Lake Iseo, the Val Camonica valley, or the shores of Lake Garda. The service offers flexibility in choosing the type of vehicle and planning the itinerary.

The facility with 10 stalls, waste disposal and water hook-up points was built from scratch with total investments of 64 thousand euros, 20 thousand of which were contributed by the Tuscany Region. The area is located in the Torrita scalo zone on land donated by the local "Circolo Arts" association.
