In 2026, the Valencian government (Generalitat) allocated €395,941 to 16 municipalities in the province of Castellón at risk of depopulation to create and improve motorhome service points (Puntos Limpios).
The funds are intended for building new and upgrading existing stations for dumping grey and black water, as well as installing water supply points. According to Castelló Extra, the grants also cover design and technical supervision costs. The initiative aims to boost motorhome tourism and support the local economy. It is part of a strategy to support the economy of inland areas and promote sustainable motorhoming.
