Program 'Vom Transporter zum Camper' to air on NDR Fernsehen

Nissan and German camper specialist Eifelland have developed the Interstar-e Relax, an electric camper based on Nissan's large electric van. It will debut at the end of August at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf. Priced at €89,900, it features an 87 kWh battery, a WLTP range of 410 km, DC fast charging up to 130 kW, and a standard 22 kW onboard charger. Inside, there is a fixed double bed (1.9×1.6 m), a kitchen with a 90-litre fridge, induction hob and sink, a toilet, and 2.6 cubic metres of storage. The Truma Eezy parking heater runs off the traction battery, eliminating the need for diesel.

Nissan, together with German company Eifelland, has developed the electric camper Interstar-e Relax, which will be presented at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf at the end of August. Features include a compact kitchen with sink, induction hob and 90-litre fridge, a 1.9×1.6 m bed, four seats, a portable toilet and two opening skylights.

German manufacturer Vario Mobil has unveiled the luxury camper Vario Perfect 1200 QS Platinum based on the three-axle Mercedes Actros 2553 LLL chassis. The vehicle is 12 meters long, weighs 26 tons, and has a living area of 35 square meters. It features slide-out sections, a garage for a car, a 12.8-liter turbo diesel engine with 530 hp, air suspension, and rear-wheel steering. The interior includes leather, walnut wood, tile flooring, a wide bed, an electrically folding sofa, several TVs, satellite internet, a Bose sound system, an induction cooktop, a refrigerator, an oven, a shower, a boiler, an auxiliary diesel heater, a 600-liter water tank, and a 450-liter waste tank.

In early September, the popular Bulli Festival will again take place at Auesee in Wesel. Organizers say a few camping tickets are still available. The program includes vehicle exhibitions, live music, and a vanlife area.

Mercedes-Benz has unveiled a new camper van featuring increased headroom and a panoramic roof window. The model targets the growing demand for mobile homes. Details on specifications and pricing have not yet been disclosed.
