A 7-day motorhome route through Allgäu covering around 200 km has been published. The first stop is at Wohnmobilpark Füssen (€25 per night) near Forggensee, the second in Oberstdorf. The itinerary includes Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles, a day at Hopfensee or Forggensee, a cable car ride up the Nebelhorn, and the Breitachklamm gorge (entry about €9 per person). Recommended travel period is May-June and September.
