The scales help avoid overloading, the gas gauge prevents unexpected empty cylinders, storm lines protect the awning from wind, adapters and extension cables ensure safe campsite power connections, and the signs make protruding loads visible. Italy and Spain have different requirements for the number of stripes and the border of such signs.
