The municipality of Ribadeo is preparing a new bylaw to regulate parking of caravans, motorhomes and camper vans. The rules will distinguish between overnight stays and camping, set maximum stay times and introduce fines from €200 to €3,000 depending on the severity of the offence. Special attention is given to protecting natural areas, particularly As Catedrais beach.
