A field meeting was held in St. Petersburg to discuss creating conditions for motorhome parking at city parking lots. Participants included representatives of the City Parking Management Center (GPUC) led by director Mikhail Kurdyaev, caravan clubs, and the tourism development committee. The pilot site will be a parking lot on Tsitadelskoye Highway in Kronstadt, which can connect up to 16 campers simultaneously to electricity with a maximum load of 3 kW each; the lot is equipped with outdoor cameras and a security pavilion. The next site will be a parking lot on Prudovaya Street in Peterhof, and a joint analysis of all GPUC parking lots is planned, followed by an agreement between caravan communities, GPUC, and the tourism development committee.
