Piligrim Expo is the first festival-exhibition dedicated to road travel and caravanning in Russia. It combines an exhibition of travel vehicles with a three-day open-air festival for families, and is open to everyone — from people who already live on the road to those still choosing their first camper.

Programme

  • Exhibition of motorhomes, caravans, camper vans and living modules from Russian manufacturers
  • Equipment, accessories and services for road travel, with consultations from specialists
  • Talks and presentations by experienced travellers and content creators
  • Family entertainment area, food courts and a concert programme on the main stage

Arriving in your own vehicle

  • Camping area with water supply, electricity and grey-water disposal
  • Around 9 hectares of guest parking
  • Advance registration is required; the ticket is issued per vehicle, with the number of passengers stated during registration

Admission is free for visitors, and taking part in the exhibition is free for exhibitors in the first year of the festival.

UAZ Profi converted into seven-seat motorhome with household appliances

Specialists in Vladimir converted a 2018 UAZ Profi into a seven-seat motorhome with a living module measuring 4060×2000×2000 mm. The interior includes a shower with toilet, refrigerator, microwave, gas stove, water heater, TV, heater and air conditioning. Tanks hold 120 liters of fresh water and 95 liters of waste water. The vehicle is powered by a 2.7-liter gasoline engine producing 150 hp, paired with a manual transmission and all-wheel drive. The single example is priced at 2,699,000 rubles.

Popularity of campers grows in Russia

The number of registered campers and trailers in Russia has exceeded 26,000, with interest in motorhomes up 15% this year. The Ministry of Economic Development notes an increase in auto tourism, driving demand for caravans, including domestically produced ones. Russian-made motorhomes, starting at 500,000 rubles, are built on bases of Niva, UAZ, PAZ, and KAMAZ SUVs, adapted to local conditions, and come with warranty and technical support.

Karso Caravans has introduced the Karso KS66, a new travel trailer for the Russian market, designed for year-round use.
