From July 1, 2026, the updated EU regulation (GSR II) will require new motorhomes to be equipped with advanced safety systems. For large integrated models, this is expected to increase prices by 1,000 to 3,000 euros. Additionally, self-built camper vans registered after July 7 may need to meet the new software requirements, risking road approval failure.
