From July 1, 2026, the Netherlands introduces a kilometer-based truck toll for vehicles over 3.5 tons. Motorhomes are exempt from the toll, but owners of foreign motorhomes over 3.5 tons must register their vehicle with the Dutch RDW before traveling. Registration can take up to five days; failure to register may result in the motorhome being mistakenly identified as a toll-paying truck and subject to fines.
