Volkswagen ID. Buzz 2027 gets camping package Tourer 4Motion

Anneke Engels and Sebastian Kröll from Xanten will marry on June 5, 2026, and two days later depart on a two-year world tour in their camper van. The couple has previous travel experience, including getting lost in the Tunisian Sahara. Two Samoyed-Husky mixes will accompany them. Sebastian Kröll modified the van with custom roof racks for a hammock.

In Villingen (Villingen-Schwenningen district), construction has started on a 42-space motorhome parking area on the banks of the Brigach river. The project has been in development since 2015, with the symbolic groundbreaking on June 2. Opening is planned for autumn.

On Monday in Dielheim, an 80-year-old man accidentally set fire to trash with a gas torch while weeding; the flames spread to a motorhome and damaged neighboring houses. Damage: €50,000; one firefighter injured.
