Rhön Camp The Seeker: Mercedes Sprinter-based motorhome

A team of engineering students from Eindhoven University of Technology (Netherlands) has developed the Stella Vita motorhome, which runs entirely on solar energy. Range on a sunny day reaches 730 km, on a cloudy day about 600 km. Integrated panels covering 8.8 sq m and deployable side panels provide full off-grid capability for two people.

Ferrari has confirmed that the Luce electric crossover will be the first model from the brand to offer a tow bar. This will allow the vehicle to tow a caravan. The decision follows customer requests for travel use.

Benimar has introduced four new floorplans for the Yrteo series for 2027. Models Y881 (5.99 m) and Y885 (6.39 m) replace fixed beds with drop-down beds, increasing vehicle height to 2.89 m. Dethleffs has launched the Summer Edition caravan series, available in seven layouts. The starting price is €28,990. On the N9 ring road near Alkmaar (Netherlands), a camper van rear-ended a passenger car. Initial reports indicate the camper driver failed to notice the vehicle ahead. Three people were injured: a child from the camper and two women from the car. All were taken to hospital; the severity of injuries is unknown. Traffic towards Den Helder was disrupted. Police are investigating the cause.
