EcoFlow is a Chinese manufacturer of portable power stations and home energy storage systems, founded in 2017. Its products are widely used by van lifers for their fast charging (X-Stream technology), high capacity and solar panel compatibility.

Redpoint Vanture, a Michigan-based van outfitter, has completed a new camper van conversion called Bivouac, based on a Ford Transit 148 with a high roof and all-wheel drive. Designed for one or two travelers, it features a minimalist interior with a queen-size bed, a kitchen with a refrigerator and microwave, a hidden shower, and a portable toilet. The van is equipped with an EcoFlow 10-kWh lithium battery, 550W of solar panels, and an Espar heater, making it suitable for year-round travel.

Vanture Customs unveiled the compact Voyager camper based on the Ram ProMaster with a wheelbase of 3454 mm. The conversion costs from $59,000, or about 4.9 million rubles, with the van itself paid separately. Inside, there is a kitchen with a Dometic fridge, a transverse bed with removable sections, a 48-volt EcoFlow system with 15 kWh of energy, a 113-liter water tank, an outdoor shower, a diesel heater, and air conditioning. Vanture calls the Voyager the most spacious short Class B camper on the market.

Vanture Customs unveiled the Voyager, a camper van based on the Ram ProMaster with a 136-inch wheelbase. The company claims it is the most spacious short Class B camper van on the market. The interior features a kitchen with a Dometic fridge, Galanz oven, and induction stove, a bedroom with a removable bed platform, and a garage underneath. A 15 kW EcoFlow power system provides off-grid capability, with charging via solar, shore power, or DC-DC. The starting price for a Voyager conversion is $59,000, excluding the base van.

The author, who regularly sleeps in a van, listed four items that she says significantly improve the comfort of sleeping in a car. The list includes a portable toilet, a portable water heater, a driving charger, and a gimbal camera. Prices for the recommended models range from 67,980 yen for the BougeRV water heater to 132,000 yen for the Japan Safety 'Wrap Pon Sunny' toilet (official store price), though it can be found on shopping sites for around 90,000 yen. The EcoFlow charger costs 72,800 yen, but during sales it can drop to the 30,000-yen range. The DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Creator Combo is priced at 99,880 yen.

IMTEST tested four coolers for camping and travel: EcoFlow Glacier Classic 35, Dometic CFX5 45, Anker Solix Everfrost 2 40L, and Maentum IcecubeX 40L. The winner was the EcoFlow Glacier Classic 35 with a rating of 'good' (2.53), which cools to 7°C in 17 minutes and maintains temperature for over 40 minutes. The best value for money was the Maentum IcecubeX 40L (2.54), though it cools slower (about 51 minutes) and lacks a built-in battery. The Dometic CFX5 45 (2.56) had the fastest cooling (under 10 minutes) and best insulation, but is more expensive and requires an external battery.

The 2026 27North Winston is built on a 170-inch-wheelbase Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 3500 XD AWD cutaway chassis and measures approximately 24 feet long, 7 feet 2 inches wide, and 10 feet 1 inch tall. It offers three floor plans: 27A with a fixed queen bed, 27B with a convertible dinette, and 27C with twin beds. Standard equipment includes a 10-kWh lithium battery bank, a 3,600-watt inverter, a 1,000-watt solar package, a 48-volt EcoFlow system, a Velit air conditioner, a Truma Combi diesel heater, a full shower, and a Thetford toilet. The MSRP is $249,500.

Vanworks has introduced the compact Switchback S2 motorhome based on a 2026 all-wheel-drive Ford Transit. Price: $136,500. The 5.99 m vehicle features a queen-size fold-down bed, a kitchen with induction hob, fridge and water heater, a 10 kWh EcoFlow lithium system and 400W solar panels. A cassette toilet is available for $2,230. The Mercedes-Benz Sprinter AWD version costs $141,900.

Gone Mobile Vans charges $75,000–95,000 for a Ford Transit 2026 off-road conversion, on top of the base vehicle price of $59,180. Total cost starts at $134,000. The conversion includes a 50mm body lift, intercooler protection, adjustable shocks, all-terrain tires, external storage modules, and a body extension kit. Inside: 85L fridge, sink, foldable shower, toilet, heater, 91L fresh water tank, 60L grey water tank, and an EcoFlow power system storing 10 kWh with 3600W output. Only two 100W solar panels are installed, making solar a secondary source. The company did not disclose final price, curb weight, or remaining payload.

The conversion includes suspension upgrades, tires, exterior storage, and interior features: a fridge, sink, shower, toilet, EcoFlow system with 10 kWh storage, and two 100 W solar panels. The company has not disclosed the final price, weight, or payload of this specific build.

Heise Online has published a ranking of portable solar panels for off-grid power supply. The test included about 20 foldable models with outputs from 100 to 400 W. The test winner is the Bluetti PV350 (350 W, €339), the technology leader is the Ecoflow 400W (€499), and the best value for money is the Fossibot SP200 (200 W, €199).

The models EcoFlow WAVE 3, BougeRV PC35, and EENOUR PA600 vary in price and specs: from 39,579 to 104,951 yen on sale. They require external power or a battery, and feature cooling, dehumidifying, and fan modes.

During the Amazon Prime Day early sale starting July 7, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Max portable power station bundled with a 600W Alternator Charger is priced at 131,591 yen, down from 279,980 yen — a 53% discount (148,389 yen off). The unit features a 2,048 Wh battery, a 2,200 W inverter (peak 4,400 W), and supports charging from a vehicle alternator while driving. It also includes a UPS function with a switchover time of less than 0.01 seconds.

Redpoint Vanture has introduced the Swickster camper built on a Ford Transit 148WB EXT with a high roof. The model features a fixed bed, a separate bathroom with shower and portable toilet, a kitchen with an induction hob and refrigerator. It includes an off-grid power system with a 5 kWh EcoFlow lithium battery and a 400 W solar panel. Water supply consists of a 30-liter tank and a Bosch water heater. Body panels use 3M materials for thermal and sound insulation. The camper is designed for a couple with a pet.

BLUETTI has launched the Charger 1, a 560W alternator charger compatible with 95% of portable power stations on the market. The device connects to a vehicle's alternator and charges six times faster than a standard 12V outlet. Unlike competitors, it works with devices from EcoFlow, Jackery, Anker, and other brands. The Charger 1 is available on the company's website and Amazon in the US, Europe, Japan, and Australia.

It features a 10.2-inch monitor for playing Famicom games, Jackery and EcoFlow portable power stations, and a Lakudanii sleeping kit. EcoFlow has launched a promotion on its DELTA 3 Max Plus portable power station (2048 Wh, 3000 W) and WAVE 3 portable air conditioner. The discount via Best Car Web promo code is approximately 40% (about 100,000 yen). DELTA 3 Max Plus supports expansion up to 6000 Wh and operates at around 30 dB noise level. WAVE 3 includes a pet care feature that automatically activates cooling when room temperature exceeds a preset range (25–45 °C).

JP STAR (Moon Star Export) presented the HAPPY1+City Turbo concept at TOKYO OUTDOOR SHOW 2026 in Makuhari. Based on the Daihatsu Atrai with a turbo engine, the camper features an electric pop-up roof that keeps overall height around 2 m, allowing access to multi-storey car parks. Standard equipment includes an EcoFlow power system, solar panel, and Dometic air conditioner. Pricing and launch date have not been announced.
