A fire alarm in Irsingen on Wednesday evening triggered a large-scale response from multiple fire departments. Smoke was detected from a barn on the southern edge of Irsingen, where motorhomes were stored. Firefighters from Irsingen, Türkheim, and Bad Wörishofen used breathing apparatus and thermal imaging cameras to quickly bring the situation under control. The cause is suspected to be a technical defect; damage assessment is ongoing.

A fee-based campsite for 100 motorhomes and 300 tents is open on the outskirts of Munich from mid-March to late October. Seasonal rates for motorhomes: €18–20.10 per night, adult €8.90, child €4.40.
