A used Hymer Ayers Rock camper van, built on a Fiat Ducato chassis, is being offered on the German used-car market. The vehicle sleeps four and includes a kitchen, targeting summer road trips.

In Altenhagen, near Steinhuder Meer, on July 18, a hunter discovered an illegally camping driver of a VW Transporter. After the hunter called the police, the driver deliberately drove towards him at high speed. The hunter jumped aside, sustaining only a slight contact and no injuries. The Stadthagen police are investigating for dangerous interference in road traffic.

German motorhome manufacturer Ahorn Camp, the only large-series producer exclusively using the Renault Master chassis, will present several new models at the Caravan-Salon in Düsseldorf (August 28 – September 6). These include two 6-meter compact vehicles, a single-bed layout for the 7.5-meter semi-integrated model, the budget Move series, and the premium Eclipse edition. Prices start at €58,500.

A couple from near Ingolstadt won festival tickets for Parookaville with a 'Deluxe Bell' camping package worth €2,000 for three days. The package includes a tent for two with camp beds, bedding, chairs, electricity, and access to a wellness area with whirlpools and saunas. The couple praised the clean toilets and showers and the stress-free setup, but said they need to save for a return visit as €2,000 is almost the cost of a family holiday.

Mercedes-Benz has announced a fully electric version of its EQT Marco Polo micro-camper. It is the brand's first all-electric Class B motorhome. The vehicle is 4.95 m long with a seven-seat layout. It features a pop-up roof, an external kitchen with a portable gas hob, a 15-litre fridge and a 12-litre water tank. The sleeping area measures 2×1.15 m and accommodates one to two people. Pricing and full specifications have not yet been released.

Fritz Berger, a camping equipment retailer, will lease space in the former Hellweg DIY store in Werl. The store, with about 1,000 square meters of sales area, is planned to open for the 2027 season. It will fill a gap between Berger's existing stores in Witten and Paderborn, each 45–60 minutes away. The store will employ 6–8 staff and stock camping furniture, awnings, household and outdoor items, technology, gas supplies, and vehicle accessories.
