A cassette toilet is a motorhome toilet with a fixed bowl connected to a removable waste cassette (typically about 15–21 litres) that is removed through an external service hatch and emptied at a designated disposal point.
Common European models include Thetford C200, C250/C260 and C400. The cassette has a level indicator, blade valve, vent button and handle or wheels for transport. Toilet fluid is used to control odour and help liquefy waste.
