At the Caravan Salon 2026 in Düsseldorf, motorhomes that operate entirely without gas were presented. These include the Atlantis Carbon 4x4 with a carbon-fibre cabin and diesel heating, the Bürstner Habiton with an enlarged rear storage compartment, the La Strada Avanti F with an induction hob, and the luxury Morelo Home and Concorde Centurion 1100 GI (optional). Vario Mobil Perfect and Star have been available gas-free since 2025. Compressor refrigerators, induction hobs and diesel heaters replace gas systems. According to promobil, no gas-related incidents have been documented in over 40 years of testing.
