A 1734 painting of St. Francis of Assisi by Gaetano Lapis, housed in the Church of the Holy Trinity in Gubbio, has undergone restoration. The Camper Club Gubbio funded the repair of the canvas tear and paint layer damage. Restorer Anna Morena carried out the work. The restored artwork will be returned to the community on September 5, 2026, during a Franciscan gathering marking the 800th anniversary of the saint's death.

A 65-year-old resident of Pesaro was detained by police after pointing a gun at a group of young people inside a camper van.
