Police in Italy's Ravenna province are investigating a series of frauds in vehicle sales, including motorhomes. Since mid-August, seven cases have been recorded in Emilia-Romagna: fake buyers showed forged receipts for instant bank transfers, took the vehicles and quickly resold them at reduced prices. A resident of Modena lost a motorhome worth about 50,000 euros, later finding it listed for 27,000 euros in Lugo; police recovered the vehicle. Another case in Cesena involved a motorhome sold for 40,000 euros and offered at a dealership. The total value of the seven vehicles is estimated at 300,000 euros.
