Winnebagoⓘ has unveiled the Arka expedition camper built on a four-wheel-drive Ram 5500 Crew Cab chassis. The living module is attached to the frame via a four-point mounting system that allows independent flexing of the truck body and the camper. Winnebago claims 14 days of self-contained operation without external power or a combustion generator. The energy system includes a 16.8 kWh lithium battery, 800 W of sliding roof solar panels and an auxiliary AC generator driven by the engine. Fresh water capacity is 227 litres and towing capacity is up to 6.8 tonnes.
