Winnebagoⓘ has unveiled the expedition motorhome Arka on a Ram 5500 Crew Cab chassis. The model is powered by a 6.7-liter Cummins turbodiesel producing 360 hp and 1085 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed Aisin automatic transmission and all-wheel drive. Curb weight is 8845 kg, payload is 6800 kg. It rides on 41-inch Continental tires, LiquidSpring Smart Suspension air suspension and Baja Designs LED lights. The vehicle is designed for temperatures from -23 to +49 °C.
The living module accommodates four people and includes a kitchen, sleeping areas and a transformable bathroom. According to some sources, a modular system can convert the space into a gear garage or a living room with a sofa and two sleeping places. Power comes from Lithionics lithium-ion batteries (165 Ah, 51 V). One source claims up to 3 days of electronic autonomy, another says up to 14 days thanks to a 48-volt system and solar panels (800–1200 W). Price starts at $331,901.
